Cellulite and body brushing! Does it work?

So I have cellulite and I need to get rid of it! Does body brushing work? If so will any body brush work or are some better than others?

It definitely works. I use an Elemis one and pleased with it

gaggiagirl · 18/10/2018 00:47

It really does work. I've been brushing for about a year and there's a clear difference.
What have you got to lose?
The brush exfoliates anyway so there's at least that benefit.

gaggiagirl · 18/10/2018 00:48

Sorry I forgot to add, my brush was a fiver from sainsburys.

Yes, if you're diligent about it, you'll see great results.

My brush is more than 15 years old, from The Body Shop and still going strong!

skippy67 · 18/10/2018 09:42

It definitely works for me.

skippy67 · 18/10/2018 09:43

My brush is also from the body shop.

Thank you all the the replies I will get one today :)

So I'm now wondering if it works so well on cellulite maybe it might also help to improve skin texture on belly skin after having children? My belly has a lot of loose skin!

So do you brush every day? Or a couple of times per week?

I brush everyday for about 5 mins.

MonteCarla · 19/10/2018 09:29

There was someone on here whose friend took part in a TV programme about body brushing recently. She said it did work but her grind had to brush for 30 mins a day.

Raspberry66 · 19/10/2018 14:59

It won't work on loose skin but will also improve texture on upper arms and lower legs - it got rid of that 'chicken skin' texture.

Tbh I've not noticed any improvement in cellulite though.
