Recommend me a decent nude nail polish

I’m on the lookout for a decent nude polish. Not too brown, not too grey, not too pink. The Goldilocks of nude nail polish, if you will.

I have Essie Mademoiselle, which is really not what I’m looking for. I’d like a more opaque one.

What are your favorites?

Is the Chanel Ballerina opaque? It sounds lovely but I would like i to be opaque. I'm reluctant to fork out on a Chanel nail polish but if it's truly lovely, I have some Boots points that I have been saving and might spend.

Not opaque unless you do 2/3 coats - it just makes your nails look slightly nudely healthy

Essie lady like is lovely. I'm looking at it here. Now I fancy a pinkier one. I would never have thought a nude nail polish would consume me so much

Rimmel do a lovely nude shade called Caramel Cupcake. It is similar to OPI Pale To The Chief, I have both because I can’t resist buying nail varnish. It’s a bad habit.

Actually @Marloe my DD bought that last week! It’s lovely on her (creamy skinned red head) but looks a bit yellowy on me.

Essie topless and barefoot? Needs a couple of coats but is a lovely colour!

I have Revlon All or Nothing (gel envy or something) and it wears really well. Takes a few coats to get really opaque and is paler/pinker than Essie "lady like".

Chanel nail polish is completely rubbish ime. Chips within seconds!

Rhe revlon is v similar to topless and barefoot actually ^^

Sienna Byron Bay do some amazing nudes! The shipping may be prohibitive though and the nail polishes themselves are pretty pricey. Don’t worry OP you’re not the only one consumed by the quest for the perfect nude

Ahoy how do the Sienna varnishes last? The natural ones Ive tried generally chip really quickly, even the top rated ones like Zoya

I’m ashamed to say I’ve recommended them without actually trying them
I just love the range of colours and can’t wait to get my hands on some. I’ve just started getting shellac manicures and I’m in love. May try Sienna soon for toes 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure there would be reviews online if you’re really interested in getting some.

That's one coat of Chanel Ballerina. The bottle is 18mths old BTW, the coverage of this stuff is amazing. It seems to go on forever. 3 coats makes it opaque. I probably use it twice a month?

It's a Super Gel one.
I searched for two years at all price points and this is now what I now wear every day. Lasts at least 10 days, it's opaque and what I've looked for for ages despite spending up to 5 x the price!

Today I got the got Opi, Berlin there done that, as recommended up thread. It’s a lovely colour with good coverage but it’s neutral rather than nude. I’m really happy with it but it maybe a bit too much colour for what your looking for.
