I need some fine knit jumpers. I hate chunky kits as they make me look like a pudding. I like this from Toast, but am a bit Shock at the price. Has anyone bought it?

Knits not kits!

I tried it on in Harrogate, and absolutely loved it. Not good for nork age though, just too close fitting for me. Alternatives to consider would be the Lisa or Katie jumpers from Hush - also pricey though, but mine have washed well. A more budget option might be uniqlo’s extra fina merino jumpers (crew and v). Again, I am too well endowed in the chest for them though.

I have a few of these in different colour ways, and I like them.

averageisgood · 16/10/2018 20:46

They wash and wear very well, but some colours do go in the sales, which is when I tend to stock up

user450246 · 16/10/2018 20:49

Yes I’d wait for the sale too, their things are nice quality.m, and sign up to their newsletter as I had a discount through that once

Thanks all, I might give Uniqlo a try and watch out for a Toast sale...What is Uniqlo sizing like? I'm a 12, but now find I need a 10 in lots of places due to vanity sizing.

I've got two of the striped versions, love them, really comfy, warm and great for layering. Pricy but worth it

Following to find out what the sizing is like! Love those jumpers

The Toast one looks like a wool t-shirt base layer style, very thin. Cos do them every year for a much better price. I've also seen them in Arket.

The Uniqlo one linked is a standard thin knit merino crew neck, still great, and best quality v price on the market but not as slim fitting or stretchy as the one you linked. (if you're a 12 at least a medium, if not large. Uniqlo is Japanese so small to size, and being at the cheaper end, sizing can be erratic)

ShopoholicIn · 17/10/2018 17:18

Op uniqlo do a free next day delivery in store n i am a size 14 but wear some ubiqlo dresses n t shirts in small. So best is to try it in store or get two sizes n return

MikeUniformMike · 17/10/2018 20:20

Uniqlo sizing is OK. Muji tends to be small but I like this:

and this www.muji.eu/pages/online.asp?Sec=2&Sub=5&PID=10112&qclr=4550002656850

Love the quality of Uniqlo stuff. Length is OK and I'm average height.
