Dress for graduation?

I’m v v short so this is knee length on me. I sized down so it’s not as loose as this pic either. Loved it when I tried it in, now not sure..... winter graduation. Thininking black (or possibly v dark navy) thick opaques. But now having a wobble.

Gown is blue/navy....

I think it’s great and would hint at funkiness under a blue gown.
What shoes?
