White stuff

Did I read somewhere they are struggling? A couple of years ago I would have happily shopped there but now I find I don't even bother.

I love White Stuff but buy it all off eBay as I don't like their look for the last few years. It has the ex clothes woman from M&S in charge now and I think it shows. White Stuff clothes seem to have lost their originality and look like the rest of the high street with cheap fabrics as well.

They may be. Although, I know for a fact that they’ve just done a lot of work on their website and stock management systems.

I love their trainers because they fit my stupid feet but the clothes seem to get frumpier with each season.

Their profits were down but still £6m+.

They've a few nice cashmere bits in at the moment, though I've not tried them for fit.

The new M and S stylist explains it! I feel they've gone all matronly and grumpy and I don't shop there anymore. I may be 50 but don't want to dress like a middle-aged Miss Marple.

Frumpy not grumpy

I like 1 thing a season, Never more, but there is always I thing. 9 or 10 years ago I would have bought everything. 3 years ago, I would have bought nothing. Quality has always been a bit hit and miss, but their size 8 shoes actually fit me, unlike most high street 8s.

Joinourclub · 15/10/2018 17:05

I used to shop there for work clothes. But whenever I go in there now all the customers are 30 years older than me so I hastily retreat.

There was a time I liked just about everything in the shop but not anymore. They have really lost their way with womenswear.

There's a handbag that I will probably buy on the next 20% off (would never pay full price) and that's it. Like others have said I've been underwhelmed for the last 2-3 years and was amazed how they made their models look so dowdy and shapeless (square t-shirts with a-line skirts). The website is a bit better at present but it's still expensive frump.
