I've only just stumbled across them so wondering if it's a new/big company and if they are any good?
Also are returns dealt with ok?

Read the website. Think returns via Hermes. Yeah fine

BikeRunSki · 15/10/2018 06:33

They have been around for years, but have very few/no shoos in the UK outside London. I have ordered from them a few times. Deliver was very quick, returned were easy and quality is good.

Itsmyarmsthatarecold · 15/10/2018 06:39

Fab, thank you :)

They've been around for years (maybe since the early 2000s?).

They have quite a few big shops around London.

Quality is generally good. Their thermal stuff, merino and cashmere is what I usually buy.

Their online service was fine when I used it, but I didn't need to return anything.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 15/10/2018 06:54

I think the original company is Japanese.
I've had some basic t shirts and things from them. They're ok for the price. I'd say quality wise as you'd expect from the price they are much the same as any high street retailer.

They have lots of shops in London. I have ordered online from them, service and items were fine.

Potplant2 · 15/10/2018 06:59

Another one who’s ordered online from them and it’s been fine.

gerispringer · 15/10/2018 07:22

I love Uniqlo. I love the shops as I live near enough to go there but online is fine too. Jeans are great, t shirts, long sleeved tops, shirts, actually practically all my wardrobe comes from there.

EmpressJewel · 15/10/2018 08:19

I love Uniqlo. Most of my wardrobe is from there. Great for basic, like jersey tops and jeans.

Twickerhun · 15/10/2018 08:21

Can anyone advise on how their sizes are?

MyArris · 15/10/2018 08:26

I'm size 12-14 (mostly 14). Waist is 32.5 inches. Bust 36D. Weight 10st 9, so you have some context.

I find their online size calculator directs me to a size large when actually, I reordered in a medium after finding large too big. That was for some black lounge pants and a vest top.

XingMing · 15/10/2018 08:35

I buy medium in T shirts and tops, unless I want a slouchier fit. The quality is better than most of the High Street and the delivery/returns/refunds process is smooth. You need to be quick off the mark on the collaborations.

AgentProvocateur · 15/10/2018 08:39

I love their clothes but had a dreadful online experience last Christmas. I had ordered a load of stuff that never appeared, and there’s NO WAY of getting in touch with them. Eventually got a refund as “address didn’t exist”. I live in Glasgow, so not the back of beyond, and had plenty delivered by them before. It’s not the nondelivery that is my issue - it’s the lack of communication channel. I will never order from them again.

MaudesMum · 15/10/2018 08:42

I've bought online and in the shops - so I had a fair idea of my size before ordering online. Having said that, returns were very speedy. I tend to use a local drop-off/pick-up point that Hermes uses as I find it easier. I've ordered things on Thursday, picked them up from that point on Saturday, dropped stuff off again on Monday and had a refund within a week. I'm between 14 & 16 and tend to find a L is ok for some stuff, XL for others.

BitOutOfPractice · 15/10/2018 08:46

I received an order on Saturday that I ordered Thursday. They've been around for years and years.

Floisme · 15/10/2018 09:19

I think the quality's hit and miss, but better than pretty much anything else at that price range. I find the merino wool is normally pretty decent. Their cashmere has a lot of fans on here but mine was shocking.

I don't get on too well with their colours. Even though there's often a good selection, a lot of the shades don't suit me and often they don't look anything like they do online.

I find the sizing all over the place but no worse than most on the high street.

If you live near a Hermes drop off then returns are free and they've always processed mine within a few days. I've had one issue of a parcel not turning up and they dealt with it professionally.

Their collaborations are looking out for, often interesting and sometimes great - but you have to order quickly to catch them.

penguinseatfish · 15/10/2018 09:24

Sizing is random, returns are easy (myhermes) x

BrightonGallery7 · 15/10/2018 10:51

Very very good service.🙂

WildCherryBlossom · 15/10/2018 11:20

They are fantastic for light down coats and thermal underwear. I do an online shop around this time of year every year to stock up as it gets colder. I love that the coats are simple and unbranded. And the thermals are amazing. Lightweight, un-bulky, great colours and wash and last for years and don't look like vests so the sleeves etc can be visible. Their delivery is very good. Haven't had to return anything so can't comment on that.

I've had some good quality knitwear too but haven't liked the shapes so much recently. I used to love their cashmere V necks.

PouchofDouglas · 16/10/2018 15:11

For me they’re everything Marks & Spencer should be

PouchofDouglas · 16/10/2018 15:12

I’m quite busty, but the cotton men’s style shirts with stretch aes really good

The down jackets that roll into a bag too
