Mascara help please - need a new one

So for a long time I was using Lancome Hypnose Drams, but it's now gone stupid price and seems to dry up very quickly, so earlier on in the year I picked up a Collection mascara for less than a fiver in Superdrug. Found it really good and have bought a few more since.
Current one was running out so I went in yesterday to replace it and it's bloody been discontinued Angry

So, I need your help please. I'm after a new one, more lengthening that thickening and no 'bog roll' style brushes please!

Forgot to say, less than a tenner please. Bonus points for even cheaper than that.

Hopeful bump!

I really like the MaxFactor Masterpiece mascaras. I was using Benefit They're Real, but these are just as good.

I'm currently using the Collection Lash Surge Volumising mascara and it's excellent (also £4.99). I would say it lengthens (incredibly) rather than volumises, and the brush is normal. I've got the waterproof black as that's all my nearest Boots had, but I've since found the brown/black at Superdrug as that's more my colour. I read about it on a thread here, so thank you to whoever suggested it!

What's a bog roll brush?

I'm considering a block mascara. I don't wear it much so it dries out too soon, and I'm trying to reduce plastic.

Boots no 7 Stay Perfect: www.boots.com/no7-stay-perfect-mascara-10156448?cm_mmc=bmm--Google+Boots+PLAs--BAU--C=%28GB%3AWhoop%21%29+Boots+Shopping+-+Category+-+Beauty+-+Desktop%28GB%3AWhoop%21%29+No7&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpa6Nq86I3gIVSZnVCh13AQxBEAQYAiABEgL6KvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Love that it doesn't slide off my face, but instead slips off in little tubes with some warm water, so easy, and no more panda eyes. Bit more than your budget though.

This is really good, No 7 lash extender. I usually use Estée Lauder or Clarins but really impressed with this one.

@picklemepopcorn, a 'bog roll' mascara brush is just that. A big fat brush that means you (well I anyway!) can't get mascara on your lashes, but instead end up whacking it off your eyelid and poking yourself in the eye.

@Suzyloo, I was actually looking for that one, but it was Saturday afternoon when I was in there and the stand had been attacked by all the 16 year olds that takeover the place on Saturdays.

Will check it out though. Thank you :)

Love love love Too Faced ‘Better than Sex’ mascara. Costs about £17 but totally worth it - you can get it in Debenhams.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 15/10/2018 18:58

The Collection Lash Surge mentioned above is amazing!

I've been using the L'Oreal Paradise Extactic Primer with Benefit Roller Lash mascara recently and it makes my lashes so long that they hit my glasses Grin AllBeauty has a brilliant deal on a full size Roller Lash with a free mini one (and they're ridiculously quick at giving cashback on Quidco if you're that way inclined...).

Maybelline Colossal Volume: bigger lashes that Diorshow Iconic and YSL False Lash Effect. Cost £6.99

Corcra · 15/10/2018 19:39

I love maybelline colossal also.
I find essence ‘I 💜 extreme’ really good.

I really like the soap and glory ones. I'm using the silver one at the moment and it's great. Not sure if it's under a tenner though. It might be a tad over.
