Need to avoid washing my hair every morning - I've really gone off the smell of Batiste!

Percy and Reed, not cheap but TK Maxx has it reduced to £4.99.

The aveda one is lovely. It’s more like a talc than a spray. Not cheap but lasts ages.

evilharpy · 15/10/2018 09:55

Wilko! It's great stuff.

Aussie smells ok but turns my hair to straw.

FemmeFatalist · 15/10/2018 09:57

Klorane is lovely but not cheap.

Sitranced · 15/10/2018 13:19

Another one for the Wilcos. It its really dusty though, not a problem for my grey hair but might not be the best for brunettes or dark hair colour.

papaoomama · 15/10/2018 13:20

Batiste have zillions of different fragrances though!

peoplearepeople · 15/10/2018 16:20

Klorane is lovely and fresh. Not too strong smelling.
Colab also has quite a few nice fragrances. The London one smells a lot like stella mcartney perfume if you like that scent?
If you like the effect of batiste though have you tried the bare and unscented one? I think it's probably one of the best out there. Smile

TacoFlavouredKisses · 15/10/2018 16:36

I like the "Bare" scented Batiste most if you're not off all of them!

octopusrus · 15/10/2018 18:09

Cheers for replies!

I am brunette so usually use the 'brown' batiste - I know they have lots of fragrances but for some reason I've kind of gone off all of them Confused and need something different!

I'll put all of the above on a list and go on a sniff-test.

Toni and Guy- think it's only available in boots. Normally 7.99 but they v often do 3 for 2- smells lovely!

MrsBosh · 16/10/2018 23:06

Wilko do a brunette one which is very nice. I think it's better than Batiste as brown coloured and smells nicer!

ProjectGainsborough · 16/10/2018 23:08

Ouai is nice, sort of a mousse thing which makes your hair shiny too

feelitinyourbones · 16/10/2018 23:29

I've always loved the smell of the Lee Stafford one. Pink can. But I end up going back to Batiste for day to day as it's half the price. There are so many different fragrances, surely you can find one you like?

daftyburd · 17/10/2018 02:46

Some of the Colab scents are fine. I prefer it to Batiste as doesn’t have the white residue and similar price.
