Is there such a thing as a straight legged jegging?

I like the comfiness and stretchiness of jeggings and not having a button at the fly, but I'm a bit over the skinny leg thing. I'd sort of like a narrow/straight leg style. Is there such a thing? Or am I basically talking about old lady trousers?!

Old lady trousers unfortunately! Jeggings are jean/leggings so would look wrong not being fitted.

But not all jeans are fitted if you see what I mean...I sort of want straight leg jeans with a comfy jegging waistband!

Jegging material wouldn't hang right though as it's a lot softer than normal denim.

I wanted exactly the same as you and ended up getting these from Asda. They're really nice and not tight on the leg.

Ah yes I see what you mean. I'll have to keep looking. I want something that's not quite a jean and not a trouser. That's why I like jeggings but I feel a bit like a parsnip leg in them.

I am a size bigger round the tummy than through the legs and thighs so basically all jeggings end up like this on me! Could you go up a size??

lurchermummy · 14/10/2018 22:17

Those Asda ones do look nice, although it's a shame they don't have different colours. Do Asda sizes come up big or small?

Spamfritters I have tried that but then you sort of end up with a baggy bit around the crotch. I never used to have a big tummy but menopause has changed my shape.

Simply be do a bootcut version that's more straight leg imo.

I bought some last week and love them!

Seems like supermarkets might be the place to look! I got some straight leg jeans that have a jegging style waist band from Sainsbury's. they're a harder denim (like proper jeans) than jeggings.

Thanks @young. I've ordered a pair of those that you linked to. :)

Have you tried the thing Uniqlo call ‘trouser leggings’? They are pull on but have pockets on the rear, a faux fly and belt loops. They are straight to slim through the legs, but not skinny. Last year I had them in black, grey and indigo denim and wore them a lot.
