Are there any must haves? A friend has started selling it. I'm not one for buying from MLMs but am curious.

I've loved everything I've had from Tropic & have not really strayed from the brand since first discovering. I'll use other moisturisers/serums occasionally if I fancy something different.

My absolute must have is the green face mask - it really detoxifies my skin & keeps it clear. Amazing if you're quite congested like me. I use once a week without fail.

The cleanser has been my only cleanser for a few years now & I get the daily moisturiser every now & again. The scrub is also the only scrub I've used for a few years too & find a tube lasts a long time.

All in all, the whole range is good & everything I've had lasts a fair while so good value for money. I order maybe every 3-4 months.

Your friend should be able to give you some samples to try!

I never in a million years thought I’d buy from a mlm company but after trying the abc cleansing routine I’m hooked. I love it. Also the exfoliating face scrub stuff is absolutely amazing.

This is interesting- one of my friends has just started selling it too.

aussielivingabroad · 13/10/2018 22:28

I started using over a year ago & won't use anything else now. I use the Toner, cleanser & moisturiser on a daily basis. I would recommend the ABC kit. Agree with PP about asking your friend to try the products out.

This is an advert right? With MLM bots jumping in to endorse it!

I bought under duress (mlm, too awkward to say no - I'm usually good at refusing mlm sellers but this one was potentially too difficult to refuse .... family stuff).

I've got a shower gel which I like, purely because it has an unusual lovely smell. Would buy again if it was in a shop but probably wouldn't if it means encouraging an mlm relationship.

Body creme smells nice but fragrance doesn't last and isn't very moisturising.

The cream cleanser smells quite nice. It does the job as a cleanser - removes my make up and doesn't give me spots. But I don't love it and I can't remember the price but I imagine it was on the expensive side for what it is.

I've got a moisturising mask. Don't think it's great, feels really lardy and isn't pleasant to use (sits really heavily on the skin). Not convinced it's particularly effective but it's ok.

I have a facial oil. I was just thinking about it before I saw this post (just applied before bed). I guess it's...ok? I don't know, I don't love it. I think it was decent value but it doesn't have a "wow" factor. I'd try something else before I re-buy.

I got a small sample of a sleepy bath oil. That was divine (SO lush) but about £40 to buy which is too much for bubble bath really.

tinyradish · 13/10/2018 23:07

Nope, I just love the products. I've thought about becoming a seller but can't be bothered quite frankly.

tinyradish · 13/10/2018 23:08

& I don't buy through anyone, just the website.

I have terrible skin, very bad eczema and use the tamanu balm it has totally cleared it up. Have previously tried all sorts, steroids and the very expensive Robertson's cream but tropic has cleared it. Have just ordered the super green serum and mineral makeup. My current skincare and makeup routine is currently nil as anything always makes my face red so fingers crossed this doesn't!

ShoppingOnesSelfFit · 14/10/2018 10:54

I used a whole range of it and really liked it but I'm a Dr Haushka fan and was bought a lot of that as a gift, so am using Dr H but would always go back to Tropic as an option.

Nice stuff, packaging and ethos.

IlonaRN · 14/10/2018 11:12

I was interested, but it still contains a few ingredients I am currently avoiding.

I cannot stand the MLM model, and the endless social media shilling - BUT I was bought a travel set as a gift last year and used it on holiday a while back. I was really pleasantly surprised - it’s lovely stuff and I’ve actually gone on to replace a couple of products as they ran out. The product formulation seems good - I’m usually unable to use Shea butter etc as it clogs up my skin, but strangely I haven’t had any issues with it in Tropic products.

My favourite things are probably the spray face mist and the fruit acid serum. Expensive, and I wouldn’t have gone near it if I hadn’t been gifted some by a friend (who isn’t an MLM-bot) - but I’ve actually seen results.

aussielivingabroad · 14/10/2018 16:18

Nope I am not a mlm bot, just really like the products. I too buy off the website
