Help me oh stylish ones!

I have a family Christening in two weeks time and I was planning on blending in the background because I will be just six weeks post c-section and feeling rather fatter and more much tired than normal.

However, I've been asked to be godmother! Which is lovely and I'm happy to do it but means I need to make much more of an effort on the outfit front. I'm going to feel quite self conscious standing up on front of everyone if I feel like I look crap.

I'm 34, blonde, pale skinned, 5'4, a good size 16 at the moment and my boobs are a H cup as I'm still feeding. Waist is slowly coming back (I'm normally an hourglass shape). Tummy is not huge anymore but still have the c-section mum tum and I don't fancy Spanx on my scar yet, it's still sore if I prod it so they'll hurt. I also hate my upper arms!

Can anyone help me with a flattering dress? Budget up to £70.

It's a church ceremony with a gathering at the child's home afterwards. Not too formal.

Please and thanks in advance!

These dresses are fantastic for hourglasses. I have filtered to 'less than £100' and there are some nice ones for £69 that you could easily add a smart heel and clutch to and look stunning.

I'm no good at advising sorry. However I put my details and preferences into the John Lewis online stylist tool and was really surprised at the good results. Lots of things I think would suit me that I might not have chosen. It's worth a try. Good luck and hope you have a lovely day.

Oh that's useful to know, thank you! I am just so dumpy at the moment Confused
