Whistles bodycon dresses, are they flattering?

I'm thinking of buying something similar to this

has anyone got this style of dress as whistles do them every season, I'm a size14/16 so wanted to know if it would be flattering or just horrible.

I have a couple. I find them very flattering.

Also wouldn’t pay full price. They ALWAYS go in the sale.

I've put on a lot of weight recently, but previous me owned and loved one. As verite said, wait for a sale or look at eBay, I got mine there BNwT

what comfy shoes would one wear with them? I'm not great with too high heels, love those v front heels or maybe ankle boots, would those work?

I really like them but hate the way they all seem to have the full length zip up the back. I wish they'd make some without the zip feature.

I have one which is super super flattering and have also tried on quite a number of slightly different whistles bodycon styles. I find that the ones with ruching at side/waist dont suit me as well as the cross- over waist. I'm glad they are now doing them with longer sleeves and hemline too. I tried a few shorter styles and they rode up and looked awful. I wish they would do a few with a lower or v neckline
