Perfect skirt length for the short and curvy?

I’m 5”2, 12-14 depending on the cut/brand, pretty in proportion all over but curvy legged.

I’ve just ordered a couple of dresses that will definitely need taking up because I’m short and they will be pretty much maxi on me - but to what length? They’re sort of tea dress style, relaxed, I’ll wear them with ankle boots, chunky knits, that sort of vibe.

Any thoughts, wise S&Bers?

I'm the same height/size as you. I have slim legs so can get away with short but I always think just above or just below the knee is the most flattering. Don't they say to have the skirt sitting on the slimmest part of your leg?

Yes I’ve heard that, but the thinnest part of my leg is barely a cm just below the knee, and I’ve always had the sense that a big lower on the calf might just be more more chic.

I'm 5ft 1" and curvy (size 14/16) and just below the knee suits me best.
