Has anybody ever sold anything on a designer consignment website? If so what was your experience and did you get a fair price.
I have a beautiful Adam Lippes cape which i want to sell for my mum but I need a fair price as it's only been worn once and on eBay I don't think I'm going to get anything near what it's worth.

sold few chanel and hermes bags, but never clothes. i bought them years ago and made some good profit when i sold them last year.

clothes don't do so good, even the popular brands like chanel RTW, balmain jackets..etc they rarely sell well. Adam Lippes is not a very sought after designer with popular must haves items, eBay is your best bet if you don't want to lose a lot on consignment fees, which is around 30%.

which sites have you used queen i think I would still get more than on eBay even with the fees, well I hope so anyway.

Collector square, they only accept leather goods or jewelry. Not clothes.

some people here rave about Vestiaire collective. I haven't used so can't vouch for them.
