Comfy slippers that last?

I had poor circulation, I need slippers! But every pair I get don’t last over the winter season! I’ll attach a photo of the ones from last Christmas...I like ones with furry stuff inside and I like a boot style. Inspire me please?

You need Baabuk wool slippers. They're a bit expensive, but SO warm and comfortable and practical. I've had mine for three or four years, worn them all the time (very often, anyway), and they're only just beginning to show signs of wear. I've bought several pairs for friends and family too.

I have ugg slippers had them for 2 years and still lovely and comfy x

Lemonymelon · 11/10/2018 22:10

Shepherd sheepskin slippers! I bought some about 18 months ago, wear them everyday (mostly with socks) and they are as comfy and warm as when i first got them. Sheepskin is quite expensive, i think mine were about £55, but so so worth it.

gothefcktosleep · 11/10/2018 22:11

I buy my dad Just Sheepskin slippers from John Lewis he loves them.

TheClitterati · 11/10/2018 22:12

Ooh those Baabuk look good.

I've always worn the Birkenstock felt slippers but I can't wear them anymore. They are warm and comfy though.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Not sure if they do them this season but I got some sheepskin boot ones from fat Face last year. They were in the sale so a bargain, but worth the full price tag, they are so comfy, so warm and have lasted really well. I decided it was false economy to keep buying cheap slippers!

Peachypips · 12/10/2018 22:13

Moshulu. I've had my current pair 6 years!

Bushellight · 12/10/2018 22:18

Can you put them in the washing machine?

I always manage to get my wet so they get smelly and need washing.

Bluejeanz · 12/10/2018 22:20

Sheepskin slippers are what you need. I have an Ugg pair still go8ng strong after 5 years and a pair from Celtic & Co which must be 8/9 yrs old.

WaitrosePigeon · 12/10/2018 22:36

Ugg scuffette.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 22:50

Try brand alley for sheepskin slippers. They have good prices!

evilharpy · 12/10/2018 22:51

I have some Shepherd sheepskin slippers that are almost two years old and still going strong. I pine for them when I’m away from home and forget to pack them.

Nephrite · 12/10/2018 22:53

My Next ugg style ones are toasty and comfy and I'm on my fifth year of wearing them

CaseStudyResearch · 12/10/2018 22:54

My Uggs are still going strong after 6 years and look brand new. The tall chestnut ones.

CocteauTwin · 12/10/2018 22:57

If you can get to Costco, they do sheepskin slippers every year and they are less than £20. As good as Uggs but a fraction of the price.

coffeekittens · 12/10/2018 23:39

Aldi’s do an ugg mule slipper look a like, absolutely amazing I paid £15 for mine years ago and they’re still going strong. They’re usually on special buy around this time of year.

Notso · 13/10/2018 08:03

Ugg boots. Fugly as shoes but fantastic as slippers. M&M direct often have good reductions on them.

nothingwittyhere · 13/10/2018 13:57

Celtic Sheepskin boot slippers are fab; think I'm on my third pair. They last at least 3 years I'd say.

quirkychick · 13/10/2018 14:02

Another who would say Celtic & Co (used to be Celtic Sheepskin), both dp and I wear them in the winter and they last several years, I'm on my second pair in 12yrs. They wash in the washing machine on low with wool wash, and are very comfy and warm, I have poor circulation in my feet too.

alltalknobaby · 13/10/2018 14:24

Another vote for Celtic and Co, BUT I was very disappointed to see that in the 2 years since I bought mine they've increased the price from £69 to £90! 😯 Thankfully mine have got plenty of life in them yet.
