Contemporary interesting rings

Does anyone have any tips for a nice, not totally mainstream place for interesting rings? By which I mean, I've got one of these and I like it for being slightly unusual and not hippyish/ethnic/too delicate.

I can unfortunately only go up to about £60. I like silver. Inspire me!

I have a couple of teaspoon or spoon rings. I get them on Etsy or Ebay usually. This is a more unusual style one:

rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312259041655 (I'm crap at clicky links)

sleepismysuperpower1 · 11/10/2018 17:30

something like this maybe?

DarlingNikita · 11/10/2018 17:38

Thanks both. Not terribly keen on the ornate spoon type ones, TBH.

I quite like the Etsy ones but find Etsy impossible to shop on because you can't filter by style or material or anything (I don't think?).

The spoons also come much plainer if you like the idea in principle.

Etsy can be narrowed a lot for searching.

SilverHairedCat · 11/10/2018 17:42

Just checked the app, I seem to search material as a keyword then go from there.

DarlingNikita · 11/10/2018 17:44

Oh, I haven't tried the app. Thanks!

The Great Frog jeweller in London do some interesting designs mostly rock n roll, skull type designs but they have some others too.

I've bought plain spoon rings from Halo spoons (Silver's link). Paid about £35ish

I've had a couple of interesting ones from Sainsburys...although not real silver but less than £10

Some nice things on your link...there's a similar ring to the one you linked to but with coloured end stones and reduced to £60

Paula Bolton makes beautiful pieces.

Missoma do some interesting ones and not outrageously expensive. I like the silver mantra star struck signet. Love wolf and badger too. There are sometimes some interesting designers stocked on Not on The High Street.

Also try www.madebyhandonline.com - they go from within your price range to very expensive so you need to filter the search results!

Here's my Tessa Metcalfe Pigeon clasp ring. She casts the feet of pigeons and uses them throughout her designs. I love 'em!
