Had my trusty GHDs for literally 13/14 years and they're coming to the end of their life. What are the best straighteners now??

Most of them to be honest - cheap straighteners have really upped their game since GHD. I wouldn't spend more than £20 on a pair now - the basic versions I have are better than my old GHDs by miles

I love Corioliss. I never got on with GHD's

Kipozi wide plate on amazon. £28.

My style lasts three days now, my ghd's were 15yo when they died.

Cloud 9. They are owned by the guy who used to own GHD and are the same great quality as the original GHDs were, before he sold the company.

I agree with Calderdale, when GHDs were the thing to have it was because technology was new, ceramic plates, 230 degrees c.

My three year old babyliss pro were much better than my ten year old GHDs at the time I replaced the GHDS.

Cloud 9. Don't touch GHD with a bargepole.
