For the love of God please can someone recommend jeans that stay up? I had several pairs of Molly jeans from river island which I loved but I've bought two pairs recently and they both constantly need pulled up. And i bought a pair from fat face and they are the same. I'm getting desperate! I'm a size 16 if that matters. Thanks!

M&S relaxed slim. I size down one size

Want2beme · 10/10/2018 20:56

I have to wear a belt with my jeans and other trousers. I can't stand wearing it, but it does the trick.

mycheapshoes · 10/10/2018 20:57

Watching. Alll the brands that used to be ok have gone the falling down route

bellalou1234 · 10/10/2018 20:58

Not quite jeans out just bought a pair of denim look jeggins from next.super comfy stay up £22 and come in loads of colours And look like jeans

DeRigueurMortis · 10/10/2018 21:05

Ok they are pricy but you might want to look at Not Your Daughters Jeans.

They come in different cuts/colours/styles etc

You need to order a size down from your usual (so a 14 in your case).

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical but they are really good quality and wash/wear well. I have a pair from 3 years ago that are still in brilliant condition.

They pull you in, in all the right places and don't "ride" up or down. Web site is here, but it's worth googling as sometimes you can get them cheaper from other outlets.

Oh and btw I have 3 pairs of relaxed slim M&S if you want them - coincidently a size 16.

My mum has lost weight and gave them to me forgetting I was a few sizes smaller thinking I could use them "for something" - they are all in very good condition, she'd just bought them before dieting".

However they're too big for me even with a belt so they are in the cupboard somewhere. I keep meaning to take them to the charity shop but never get round to it. The pp just reminded me.

If your interested I'll dig them out and take a photo. I think I have 3 colours (denim, black, aubergine).

Givemestrengthorgin · 10/10/2018 21:29

Thank you DeRigueur, that's a really kind offer. And i wouldn't mind taking you up on it...even just one pair to try out instead of buying them and taking a risk. I'll send you a PM.

I bought a belt (primark, £3) and I can’t believe the difference it makes. Without it the jeans look like they fit me perfectly - no muffin top, but no gapey, sit nice round my butt etc til I move.... them it goes to pot!
The belt done quite loosely amazingly holds them in place perfectly 95% of the time (extended crawling around the floor with kids tends to have them shift a bit)

EdHelpPls · 10/10/2018 21:33

And mine are cheap new look ones Emilee and whatever the high wait skinny are.

DeRigueurMortis · 10/10/2018 21:39

No problem - I'll dig them out now and send a picture.

DeRigueurMortis · 10/10/2018 21:46

Here you go - photo attached.

TBH it's as easy to send 3 pairs as it is one.

Happy to pass them one - if they don't suit then just offer them to another MNetter who might be interested :-)

DeRigueurMortis · 11/10/2018 21:33

Hi @Givemestrengthorgin,

I've sent the jeans and sent you a PM with the tracking info for the package.

Hope they work out for you, but if not then please pass on to another MNetter who can use them Smile

Givemestrengthorgin · 11/10/2018 21:41

Thanks so much @DeRigueurMortis! And if they don't fit I'm sure there will be someone else on here i can pass them on to Smile

Buy a belt! I've always had this problem. I used to have a comparably small waist in relation to my hips before kids. Even since kids and two c-sections it's still a problem. But wearing a belt stops it. Although I do hate having lumps from the belt when I wear a fitted top!

TheLovelyOtherDinosaur · 11/10/2018 21:51

Tesco high waist contour jeans are really good! I HATE having to keep pulling jeans up. No belt needed, really comfy. I got the ripped effect for casual and dark for dressy with heels. Size 16 here too (age 34) with 8 month old.

Bigboobiebish · 11/10/2018 22:42

How kind of you @DeRigueurMortis

DeRigueurMortis · 11/10/2018 22:44

Waste not want not :-)

It's good to see them used rather than in my closet!

The OP has also promised if they don't work for her she'll pass them on to another MNetter :-)

Pay it forward and all that!

itsbritneybiatches · 11/10/2018 22:50

Same size.

Next lift slim and shape work great as do their high waisted ones. So do simply be

Givemestrengthorgin · 12/10/2018 13:56

@DeRigueurMortis jeans arrived today and they are super, thanks so much again. It was so nice to do the school pick up and not have to hoick my trousers up once!
