Pixi Glow Tonic v Aldi Version

Anyone tried both? I bought the ALDI version & cant say it's done much for my skin. Is the Pixi one worth splashing out on?

It's caused the odd red scaley patch on my face I've stopped using it! I haven't tried the real thing though!
