I've just had this jumper arrive which I was all set to send back (ordered a bit too much online recently ) but just couldn't, loved the colour, feel and fit, perfect for this time of year.

I've tried the rolled up look but shuddering at the thought of winter droughts freezing my ankles off & no can do I'm afraid. They are quite gapey at the ankle so thicker type skinny jeans needed to fill out at the ankle work better I think.

Uniqlo merino v necks and a Uniqlo cashmere/cotton v neck, Uniqlo cigarette trousers in olive.

@EraOfTheGrey Are those Dr Marten's comfortable? I had my eye on new docs for a while but the thought of wearing them always puts me off!

A couple of pairs of slim ankle length trousers from Uniqlo - very nice fit and such good value: around £15 in the sale.

@SoupMode - I have dozens of pairs of DM's so I'm a bit of an expert. These are super comfortable and required no breaking in at all. I even bought a second pair in black.

I'm a size 6 and a half so I tend to lean towards a 7 unless big made.

sofa I have a MD velvet blazer in navy that I bought last year, they do beautiful jackets.

I bought a Manu Atelier bag on Ebay in new condition. Gorgeous burgundy suede and leather.

It's only M&S but I LOVE my new caramel coloured trenchcoat. It's absolutely classic in design. Timeless. Have my eye on their charcoal cashmere wrap coat too. They don't often get stuff right but when they do, it's well made and such good value.

@MorrisZapp I would say that the boots are normal sizing, the site I have purchased them from (AnnaDavies) don't do them in half sizes like Uggs usually are, I got a size 5 & I'm usually a size 5 & they fit perfect. However there isn't any room for big thick socks but I wouldn't wear thick socks with these anyway as they have sheepskin lining like regular uggs 💕If you are a half size I would order the size up, but if you look on M&M direct they do appear to be on sale in half sizes there......

@expatmigrant thank you for the compliments on my chest of drawers : ) However, my drawers were hand made by my dad, unfortunately they have seen better days & I've been looking for similar styles as I love the grey! You are in luck as I have seen these in Argos which are of similar style/colour .....
P.S ikea also have some grey drawers in too!

I've just had new carpet fitted, I'm absolutely in love with it, I may post some pics of that. I'm going through a grey-overload phase, I've recently re painted my walls & had new carpets so all my house feels new.
All be it I have almost had some sort of bloody breakdown over choosing grey shades lol there are so many shades! I think I'm going to start a 'grey appreciation' thread in the home & decorating section me thinks!

@MorrisZapp I'm rather confused why on the M&M site it says to buy half size up but yet on the Ugg site & Anna Davies where I bought them from there is no mention of this nor do they come in half sizes like M&M direct. Mine are the Ugg Bonham II style, and I think the M&M ones are maybe last season or something.... however if you like the dark grey the ones on M&M are an absolute steal for that price. I guess you could order a 6.5 & a 7 from M&M direct and return the ones that you don't want... I'm confused re the sizing now as maybe UGG have tweaked the sizing in the latest style & the M&M ones are last season ... god knows but I'm not sure what to advise re the sizing re M&M .... but the ones I've bought are a true size 5 and they fit me perfectly.

I recently bought the very bargainous £8 Chelsea boots from Primark. They’re so comfy and I love them, think I’ll be going back for a grey pair.

Also these from Tesco when they had 25% off. I wasn’t sure about the coatigan at first but now I love it, and I was so pleased to get a nice little red bag.

I’ve just ordered the grey Uggs from the M&M website - I’m not sure if they are the same grey as the Bonham 2, but i’ll Give them a try.
