What tights do you wear for work?

I much prefer bare legs but with weather getting colder what recommendations would you have for tights to go with dresses in an office? Both nude (what denier is best for looking good but still some warmth?) and black? Thanks.

For black I wear wolford tights purchased from the outlet. For nude I wear l'eggs (Hanes) or sainsburys Tu ones.

Wolford Velvet de Luxe. I can’t remember what denier they are but they’re lovely and so comfortable.

WolFord velvet de luxe 66. Don’t know what denier they are but they’re not too thick or dark. They’re lovely to wear.
But I’m gone off wearing vvdark tights. I might go for a 30 denier this year, on my way down to sheer black.

I don’t wear nude tights so I’m no help there. The sheerer (not a real word, I know) the better.

Actually I presume the Wolford are 66 denier Blush

Thanks for the recommendations. Wow, the Wolford ones are expensive - are they really worth the cost? Do they last well given the expense? I can imagine snagging them on the first wear!

Yes, honestly, they are worth the cost. They’re really smooth and comfortable, wash like a dream. I think the ones I have did 3 winters of constant wear.

My wolfords are 5+ years old. Machine wash them and wear them 3-4 times a week in winter. I have 3 pairs. Def call the outlet to check what they have and the price.

I hate to be the voice of dissent but Wolford 60D bobbled around the feet/ankles just as quickly as the £8 M&S tights. It was an expensive lssson.

I’ve recently bought a few pairs of Transparenze 70 denier which are so far wearing well. Lovely high Lycra content.
