Winter Work Coat

I'm looking for a gorgeous winter coat for work. Preferably wool or cashmere or a mix.

I have a Burberry raincoat for Autumn and a Burberry puffer and a couple of parkas for casual but need something to wear over suits. Not keen on anything from Burberry and need to widen my horizons from Burberry as I'm a size 18 and they are becoming a bit of a squeeze.

Prefer charcoal or black, would consider navy but definitely not camel.

Have tried the Max Mara Icon coat but it looked awful.

Would appreciate suggestions from you lovely style gurus.

I just bought a Tilda coat from Hobbs, in dark green (also available in black). I loved the look of it when I saw it online, I've had a Hobbs coat before and it was on offer so I took the plunge. Alas! The cut of it doesn't work with cleavage, as soon as I put my shoulders back the line of the coat was all wrong and it looked like my boobs were trying to escape.

Basically, if you're a woman of cleavage, don't go there! I'm having to return my lovely coat and will be following the thread with interest as I need another one.

I liked the look of the Tilda but ruled it out as being too shorted. Sounds like it would have been no good anyway.

I just bought the Romy coat from Hobbs in red, but it also comes in navy. It's lovely and warm. I looked around and at a similar price (it was a 20% off promo), it was far and away the nicest.
