Reiki

Not sure if reiki comes under s&b but they're offering it at my local salon so thought I'd start here!

Has anyone had it? It sounds a bit woo to me (people saying they felt close to someone who's died). Is it a good relaxation thing?

Reiki is a form of healing. It is a hands off technique as opposed to something like a massage. Tbh I can’t imagine why it is being offered in a salon.

If you are interested and drawn to it, look for a reiki master and have a session with them.

Imo you have to believe in it in order for it to be of any benefit whether that is physical or emotional benefit. Personally I don’t.

The topic is more suited to an alternative medicine forum than style and beauty.
