Practical stockings or cotton tights??

Apologies if this has been discussed before but I’ve searched and can’t find any threads.

In winter I tend to live in dresses or skirts and thick black tights.

Due to reoccurring thrush / BV I need to stop wearing tights.

Has anyone that’s suffered these symptoms worn cotton tights, and do they help stop thrush or can anyone recommend practice stockings or hold ups that actually stay up and don’t ladder please? Do such things exist?!

Hold ups are a PITA, the only ones I ever found that were vaguely reliable were max Mara. Walford, falke and m&s were ok but no pair can be completely trusted not to start descending at an awkward moment Blush

You can cut the crotch out of tights. Looks a bit weird but it’s under your clothes and it is so much better than thrush!

If you’re looking for cotton tights, white stuff do tights with a high cotton content, they’re really comfy.

M&S usually have some cotton rich tights.

I have been researching this for years. John Lewis cotton rich tights are the bee’s knees.

JL tights they are much smoother and finer knit than others I have tried.
