Best leggings for apple shape

I’ve been trying to find some new leggings for ages but can’t seem to find any that actually fit!

I’m an apple shape, so have thin legs relative to my size. But I’m also a size 20-22 and most plus size leggings assume that you have quite large legs. And even when I drop a size, leggings are still baggy on me (currently wearing size 16 Seasalt leggings which are still much too baggy around the calf and ankle but I simply can’t go any smaller).

Have the same issue with super skinny jeans and jeggings but they don’t look quite as bad if they’re not as fitted as they ideally should be. What I really need is a size 20 waist with size 12-14 legs, but that doesn’t seem to exist anywhere...

Has anyone else had this problem? Do I just need to embrace the Nora Batty look for ever more?

Have you tried Sainsburys leggings?

I haven’t actually. Had some issues with their jeans in the past so didn’t think to try them. Will have to look next time I’m near.

I wear the £3.50 ones from decathlon, really good material and keep there shape

If you’re teaming leggings with a dress, consider footless tights. They’re good.

I have this problem! Size 18 with slim legs, especially ankles. I can't recommend any leggings, but Dorothy Perkins Frankie jeans are brilliant - very stretchy all the way down. The black ones fit tighter than the blue on the waist.
