Anyone else preparing for how to wear socks again?

Every year I seem to forget how to wear socks. There will come a morning when it's cold enough and I'll think I should wear socks and I'll put them on and think it looks odd. Same thing happens in spring when I go without the first time.

I'm a bit like this about summer and winter in general. Every summer I think it can't possibly be as cold/dark in winter as it actually is, and vice versa :o

Love socks though, so always happy to get back to them. They are odd when you think about it - just a woolly thing on the end of your appendage.

I can't abide wearing socks again. The long, hot summer has just been the best as I've lived in sandals and flip flops .

I'm still at the moment wearing my summer shoes with no socks. Couple of days I've had really cold feet and really need to put socks back on and some boots

Got my thick fluffy house socks out tonight. Those I know how to wear ( without a care ). Otherwise, its a bit odd I agree.

I'm still in the havianas. Can't contemplate life with socks, yet!

I never not wear socks apart from in the shower obviously and occasionally in bed.

I've been in boots for a couple of weeks, so obviously wearing socks. It is odd at first, but have come up with black socks with black boots and grey with brown so far. Beyond that, I can't think

Been back in socks since the hot weather ended. I wore a pair of flat shoes without anything else on my feet on Friday and it was grim. I couldn’t find any knee highs and those ‘secret’ sock things never work.

Travailtotravel, I've also had my house socks out lately. I have also worn the hidden socklettes a bit. I just have to get through the phase where they seem like massive statements. I have great socks. They just seem a bit loud. Like wearing a scarf when the weather turns!

I only wear socks if they cannot be seen - so with boots or invisible trainer socks with well trainers
