Going on holiday on Sunday and forecast is rain. Not that bothered just looking forward to getting away.

However, I need to get a lightweight rain jacket. I only have heavy duty anoraks. I've got limited time so online is probably out. I am meeting family in a shopping centre on Saturday so will have access to most of the popular chains.

Any ideas? I like bright rather than dull.

Mountain Warehouse do light weight rain jackets. I've got a purple one was about 18 quid.

I bought a lightweight one from Joules this summer for a festival. Looks nice on too.

Thank you- that's exactly what I was thinking of. JD Williams is mail order I think but I know there's a Joules where I'll be tomorrow. Jolly colours as well.

Seriously try Primark- they have parka style cagoules that are stylish & fold into a small bag. I've got one in pale pink & have worn it to a smart restaurant when it was terrible weather.
They are £9 usually but certain patterns / colours are in the sale at £5!!
