I've just bought a half-zip sweatshirt, was this a terrible decision?

As the title states, I have just bought a half-zip sweatshirt. I just want some warmth and comfort. So, opinions are needed. Can a 24 year old pull this off, in a sort of effortless, oversized way ? Or should I take it straight back to the shop tomorrow?

For context, I lead quite an active lifestyle, however, I am usually a stylish person. I do veer towards the preppier side of things, however, I just want something really soft, warm, cosy and comfy.

Given the styles you've said you like then I think it's the perfect top for you! I have a few of these and they are so comfy and practical but won't set the fashion world alight.

Urban outfitters have this kind of thing at the moment, have a look on their website for styling ideas.

It was very comfy when I tried it on, so I am definitely leaning towards keeping it. It is oversized, my usual size was definitely too small with something underneath, but the bigger size looks too big! Hopefully this will look deliberate.

Oooh thank you very much for pointing me towards Urban Outfitters - I've had a look - most of their half zips are fitted and fashionable looking, but a few are oversized. I don't think I could wear it with a skirt to be honest, I'd look like a sack of potatoes!
