Wide fit trainers with heel support

I need to find some supportive wide fit trainers. My physio says my current trainers offer no support which and are actually exacerbating my current knee problems. Can anyone recommend a fashionable trainer? I'm in my early 40s and don't want to be buying from a disabled aids catalogue just yet!

Yep Vionic.
I started to develop knee issues too after wearing Fitflops.
Vionic are truly brilliant. I now have several pairs of flats and heels.

Thanks so much for the tip! I'd never heard of Vionic until your post. Will check out this weekend Grin

I love brooks trainers. They do a wide fit.

I bought Vionics a few months ago and have worn them pretty much every day since! They look great and are comfy and supportive (and wide fit). Thoroughly recommend.

Vionic here too. I have plantar fascitis and a wonky knee. They were recommended here and I now have 3 pairs. They have made a world of difference to me and are well worth the price. Watch out for regular sales online.

I always buy them reduced from eBay, amazon or legend footwear or on the sales section of the website. You can also buy Vionic insoles to fit into normal shoes though I haven’t tested those out yet.
