Holiday style

I'm in a quiet family oriented resort in the Canaries in a 5 ⭐️ hotel doing some people watching.

I'd say 90% of folk haven't aimed to look stylish or put together which I find surprising yet liberating as someone who is stupidly anxious about what to wear on holidays.

Of the 10% that (IMO) have got their style together, there are a fair few over 60s women who are wearing NEON and look fab in it. Not expecting that!

There are no Boden women at all. How does this compare with your last holiday abroad in the sun?

Have we got a holiday style thread someone could link to? Am off on mine soon!

Bump. I am sure there was a great holiday style thread once. Could someone clever link it?

I live abroad in the sun. They dress to suit the weather and their body shape/size. Put-together people wear simple clothes with fabulous accessories.

Not a hint of Boden!

Just returned from the canaries with DD
Part of our holiday enjoyment is dressing up, along with eating and drinking whilst people watching plus a fair bit of sunbathing and swimming
DD mainly wears shorts and tops or playsuits during day (size 8)
I tend to wear shift dresses and linen dresses although I do have linen shorts and floaty tops (size 12)
At night we tend to dress up a bit more but still in dresses or DD has a couple of jumpsuits
For a 2 week holiday with 22 kg luggage allowance we can manage 2 outfits a day plus a lot of swimwear
Flat sandals plainer during day but something prettier for evening

Playsuits are fab on the youngsters!

We are both hourglass shape
DD is petite and has a bit of an Audrey Hepburn look in a linen shift dress
