Sister said it looked like a dressing gown and DD said I looked like an old woman!
I loved the shape and style of it tho and realised if it was just plain black it would be fine....
Anyone seen something similar anywhere? I'm a size 20/22 in a coat.
Want something past the bum, not padded or too thick...

I’ve just bought a lovely coat from H&M for the same price. I can’t link it but google straight coat. It comes in grey, camel and black I think.

I saw this in the shop yesterday and as I never go into Next this is fortuitous! It looked lovely on the hanger. Up close once you could see the inner bit (so, no lining. Obvs at £40!) It looked a bit cheap but honestly it looked great until examination. For £40 I thought it was a good buy. I would have considered it only I am wearing a similar priced bargain from last year and even though it's fairly shapeless and soft (therefore dressing gown like possibly) it's very warm and comfy. It even looks fairly smart with a large scarf wrapped around. Give it a chance, you might change your mind once you meet in person

The Next one I tried a L in shop and was just a bit too tight so ordered the XL and it was too big so was a bit shapeless when on. I think would look fine on a slimmer person.
