Anniversary date day outfit help

Hi everyone,

This weekend I'm going on a cinema date with DP for our 2 year anniversary. It's a mid afternoon date, and a slightly fancier cinema than cineworld/vue etc, the cinema seats are sofas.

Has anyone got any outfit suggestions please? I'm 5'2, size 10-12 but with a big stomach (All my fat seems to go there!). I have an olive skin tone.

Thanks everyone 🙂

You want stuff that doesn't crease, so you look good when you come back out into sunlight. And something that is nice to the touch for cuddling up in the dark.

You don't say how old you are or what you style is usually.

I'd go for dark jeans with heeled ankleboots and a silk blouse or very fine cashmere/soft wool long jumper with gold jewellery. Maybe a bike jacket on top if the weather is cool.

First of all, thank you for your ideas, I love the sound of that. I haven't got a silk blouse, would a normal blouse do?

I am in my early 20s and I normally live in black jeans and a long t-shirt.

Perfume and nice underwear! Enjoy your date.

I've just bought this and I am borderline obsessed with it.

Looks gorgeous with black skinnys or leather look leggings.

Love that colour Case
OP, yes, a normal blouse that is soft and drapey would work fine.
