What's the one beauty trick / item you never thought you'd try but now can't live without?

For me it's sheet masks all the way.

Always looked at them and thought they were a gimmicky waste of time. I judgementally cackled every time I saw one on instagram.

Now I'm running around the house in my charcoal sheet mask looking like Batman every second day – it's made the hugest difference to my skincare of anything I've done in years...

What did you never think you'd try but now swear by?

Sheet masks have been around for at least 20 years in the UK - I know because I used to stock up on them as I was living overseas (where they didn't have them).

For me, gamechanging has been the Clarisonic (7 1/2 years ago - thanks, QVC!) and getting my eyebrows done: only started in my 30s. Really notice the difference if I don't do both things.

@coppercolouredtop : who was the mask you tried by? I've definitely used ones that didn't do much for me; luckily I also found ones I love!
