Hair help

My hair is just past chest length and I am getting it cut this week. It's really long and straggly at the moment and very thin since having DC!

What should I ask for to make it look thicker and more styled? Do I want layers or just all the same length??

I need to be able to style it easily and it still look reasonable when shoved up quickly for the school run!!!

I think a blunt cut will make it look thicker. If you get a few inches off (the straggly/less healthy bits) and get a sharp cut it’ll look thicker. Hairdressers always seem to want to cut layers in!
