Which bra types really lift up?

My size is 36E which is not small by any means, but my partner says I "hide" my boobs meaning that my bras and cleavages don't really show it.
I normally were wired push ups bras but would prefer something that would really lift up / show good cleavage (I'd like boobs pushed towards each other rather than be two separate items!) Tried "balcony" and not too sure about it. Any advice?

First of all can you say where you were measured?
What dress size are you?
You may be wearing the wrong back size which means you aren't getting the support you need.

This explains how to measure properly.

Thank you. I now measure properly (used to think I was 38D).

Primark has a surprisingly good range. I like their boost and t shirt bras.

Marie Jo bras are pricey but the effect is fantastic

Plunge bras show your cleavage off nicely if you want pushed together.

Ta, will check out Marie Jo and plunge and Primark 🤣
