Smart but loose clothing- possible?

I'm looking for some smart/formal clothes as I start to think about jobs and interviews.
A 12 fits but I tend to go for 14 as I hate feeling so restricted by my clothes. I'm looking for some looser styles of clothing that still look smart enough for e.g. Interview/formal office.
I went shopping today and realised I actually know nothing about what suits me or works well together Blush so any pointers would be brilliant. I tend to go for navy/royal blues, greens and black but happy to give anything a go, within reason! Mat leave budget but willing to invest a little for the right item(s)!

I feel the same and also think clothes can look better if a little looser.
Dresses from COS might fit the bill for smartness.

Thanks, I've just had a quick look at COS and it's definitely the kind of thing I'd need to try before I buy. Some of it looks a bit more shapeless than loose, but I'll keep looking!

Absolutely a try before you buy kind of place! The John Lewis Kin range might also be worth a look.
