Are the products worth the money?
I have been looking at her Hollywood filter?

That gets rave reviews. I'm tempted as well.
I've found some of her skin care products hit and miss.

Hello, I've got a lipstick, it does seem to stay on pretty well and is quite moisturising. I haven't tried anything else though to comment on that.

looondonn · 29/09/2018 21:38

love her stuff alot

it is pricey sadly
so cant afford much of it

Twiggywinkle13 · 29/09/2018 21:40

Wonderglow and Light Wonder foundation I love. The dream cream or whatever it’s called, is ok but I won’t be replacing - feel that it isn’t worth the £70 price tag.

SemperIdem · 29/09/2018 21:43

I love her foundation, bought it recently and am a convert. It lasts so well and although a medium cover, looks and feels light and dewy. I was previously using a Rommel foundation, Wake Me Up, which is actually a decent dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury one but has dramatically less lasting power.

Also have a lipstick, Pillow Talk. I find it a bit drying but i’m currently taking roaccutane so I think that is the reason.

imnottoofussed · 29/09/2018 21:44

Hoping it's good. I've just ordered the Hollywood filter and the magic concealer thingy. You then can choose Two free samples with every order so I've chosen an eye cream and a lipstick and also they have a special thing at the moment where you get 5 free mystery samples.

Also if you order the magic foundation they send you samples in different shades so you can make sure you've chosen the correct one before opening the full bottle.

WTAFIGO · 29/09/2018 21:45

Overpriced. I found the foundation to be really cakey and the eye make up and lipsticks nothing to write home about. I wondered if I was doing something wrong and went to their store where they gave me a 'mini makeover'. I looked like an alien. Not good.

ItsNotUnusualToBe · 29/09/2018 21:45

I bought an eyeshadow palette- was the last one then sold out everywhere. I gave it to the friend who had beeen searching high and low for it. Colours (greens) were nice but pigmentation was meh. I prefer MAC

TweedAddict · 29/09/2018 21:47

Her make ups okay. Shame as I really like her. Her perfume is lovel, I’ve never had so many compliments on a perfume before, it’s a lovely smell

BigArmo · 29/09/2018 21:47

Sister in law got her makeup done at one of their counters for a wedding she was going to. I absolutely loved what they did and the products they had used. She looked stunning and she actually got to keep the makeup they used too. She was very pleased with her purchase and said would buy again.

SuperSuperSuper · 29/09/2018 22:03

I've never used CT foundation or skincare, but the eye makeup has great staying power.

SemperIdem · 29/09/2018 22:20

I have used the skin cream. I bought it half price from a beauty blogger who tried it once and reacted badly to it. I really liked it, but not £70 a go liked it, iyswim?

Disabrie22 · 29/09/2018 22:34

Thank you - my skin has got to that stage where I have to wear loads of make up to look halfway decent - it’s hard work.

I love her makeup. I've tried both foundations and they are brilliant. Her bronze and highlighter palette is fab too. I've not tried the mascara or eye shadows but I've had a lip liner and lipstick from her and they were both lovely to use and all her makeup has good staying power. Sadly it's all very pricey. I wouldn't buy the Dream Cream products as I feel they are very over priced but the multi miracle balm is brilliant if you have dry skin. It saved my face when I was pregnant and months of hyperemesis had dried and ravaged my skin. It was the only thing I found that helped get some moisture back.

Ellapaella · 29/09/2018 22:41

Lipstick not worth the price tag. It has no staying power, only lasts about 15 minutes.

verite · 30/09/2018 05:42

I like her lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes and cream eyeshadow sticks. The magic undereye concealer and mascara are rubbish.

Miltonkeynesmummy · 30/09/2018 06:36

Love the foundation, listicks and magic cream. Eye liners and mascara are dreadful.

Theseptemberissues · 30/09/2018 07:33

I think I’ve tried most of the range! Lipsticks, foundation, eyeshadows, powder, wonder glow and Hollywood filter are all great. Mascara was rubbish. Concealer wasn’t industrial enough for my dark circles. I really like the dream creams but not for the price

GinIsIn · 30/09/2018 07:37

I found it awful - really cakey and thick.

PenguinStar · 30/09/2018 07:42

I bought a makeup session in a charity auction for CT. Went to Covent Garden. Experience was nice, but I wasn’t impressed with makeup - might have been my makeup artist, but the foundation was put on really thick and pale. Lipsticks are nothing special. Have friends who love her collection though. The only product I like was a foundation brush.

I’m a massive Bobbi Brown fan.

noodlezoodle · 03/10/2018 06:26

I've had mixed results with different products but I really do love the Hollywood filter. I use it over foundation or BB cream and it just adds a really lovely healthy glow without being at all sparkly or glittery.

Cloudyapples · 03/10/2018 06:31

Don’t waste money on the magic foundation. I tried several bottles and different shades - always turned orange by the end of the day

madmomma · 03/10/2018 09:01

Hit and miss imo and massively overhyped and overpriced.
