Claudia winkleman's hair

So obviously I don't look anything like Claudia W but my hair is not a million miles off.

Notice that she's now sporting the blonde ends thing that seems to be very popular and probably quite low maintenance. What do I ask for?

A balayage I think. But definitely take a picture and find a decent hairdresser that can blend it so it isn’t too blocky.

Hello are calling it ombre, but I think balayage is similar in the graduating look of the colour transition. I prefer how it looks tonight to the picture in article

Surely is a wig?

I had heard it was a wig, too. Certainly looks like one.

I don't think it is a wig. She was on Emma Guns podcast this week and there was a big section about her hair. She uses head and shoulders.

I much preferred it before she dyed the ends. Plus I think ombré/balayage can look a bit dated now.

I've wondered if she wears a black wig and trowels on the slap so that when she's not working she can look like herself and be left alone. She's a pale person, blue eyes, fair skin. She would be unrecognisable without the obvious hair and eyes. Good luck to her either way.

I love it...I think she looks great.

She is paid by Head and Shoulders. She brought out a short lived range of beauty products for M&S a few years ago which included a conditioner because she was known for her shiny hair. She said she used that as well when they were using her name/contracted to them. Pinch of salt about celebrity endorsements (although I use my DH H and S occasionally and I like it so it is a good product).

I think it's lovely- am a big Claudia fan :)

She's also paid by tv but I recall her quoted as 'wouldnt have one in the house'.

Thanks everyone, it would appear that others don't like it that much so perhaps I'll think again... I'm pretty sure it's not a wig but it would be a good ruse if it was because surely she can't go anywhere without being recognised with that hair.

I don't have that fringe though, that's what makes her so distinctive. She must have to trim it every week if she wants to see what she's doing.

If you have her original colour hair, then keep it. I am growing out my balayageand I am pleasantly surprised how shiny and healthy my natural colour looks in comparison

It looks as though her blond bits have gone quite straw like. I’d be careful.

It looks a bit early 2000s and the peroxide had wrecked her hair it's like straw.

Oh no! Her ends look fried. Doesn’t she dye her hair darker (thought she was naturally more a mid than dark brown). Her hairdresser has ruined her hair!

It’s ombré but done in a balayage way. Balayage is just a form of highlighting, done by hand as opposed to foils.

When I first encountered Claudia Winkleman she was joint presenter on a long forgotten Quiz show called Talking Telephone Numbers with Phillip Schofield. The first thing I noticed about her was her hair because it was certainly not sleek and glossy then. It was halfway down her back and was stringy rat-tails all the way down.

I love her. Not a massive fan of the new hair, but still cool.

It doesn't look like rats tails to me.
