Aldi Pixi Glow Dupe

Just back from Aldi and this was flying off the shelves so of course I bought some. I tried Pixi Glow a few years ago and wasn't that impressed but at 3.99 I thought it was worth a punt.

Has any one else tried it yet?

What is it?

Belindabelle · 27/09/2018 17:31

It"s an exfoliating toner with glycol acid.

What does it do? Have you used it yet?

YouWereRight · 27/09/2018 17:43

I bought some earlier today. I've not used it yet, but thought it was worth a shot.

I bought some today too !
It doesn't smell the same but I'm willing to give it a punt. My face is feeling really rough on the side I sleep on, so this might help.
I've had Pixi-Glow , the smallish £10 bottle and I really liked it.

Anyone else think that the bottle ,colour, label etc is just a tad too similar and if they're not actually flounting any copyright laws , they're being cheeky blighters Shock

I couldn't actually believe how similar the packaging was. Mind you the Jo Malone and Diptyque range is very similar too.
Its funny because I would never buy a fake bag or watch but I am all over the Aldi cosmetic tributes.

I spotted it today, but didn't buy. I've used the Pixi Glow before and it didn't do a thing for me.

YouWereRight · 29/09/2018 20:34

I used it. It was ok, I rubbed the excess on me hands, and lower arms, and they look a bit smoother, maybe.

You won't notice a radical difference straight away with glycolic acid but it will resurface your skin over time. If it's not 'working' for you it's nothing to do with it being from Aldi, It doesn't matter where it's from, its the same active ingredient (like anadin is just paracetamol for example!) I use the Superdrug pads.
Surprised they haven't got in trouble as the packaging is so similar.

Try a silk pillowcase OP.

Ediemccreedy · 30/09/2018 22:35

I bought some a couple of days ago. How do you use it?

PrimalLass · 30/09/2018 23:04

I didn't like the Aldi version of the Nip+Fab pads. Not worth the saving.

PrimalLass · 30/09/2018 23:05

like anadin is just paracetamol for example!

Aspirin
