Department Store Makeover - Bobbi Brown

I’m going to a posh awards ceremony next month and want someone else to do my makeup. Doing it myself will result in it being all smudged and sliding down my face half way through the evening, so want to hand myself over to professionals in the hope I’ll look half decent for some of the night.
I quite fancy a Bobbi Brown one after a quick google search gave some positive reviews, but these were a few years ago. Has anyone had one, and if so, has it been worth it? It’s £30 (redeemable against a purchase). I don't mind buying a lipstick or something like that but because I’m going straight there after I won’t have a problem not being talked into a full on range of products.
I’m going for a blow dry too but want to make the effort with makeup as well
I’m in the City in London then going west to Park Lane for the awards if that helps with any other recommendations?
Thanks!

I’ve had my makeup done at Bobbi Brown in House of Fraser City done quite a few times for work events. They are really nice and it’s well worth it.

I had one and the woman who did it was brilliant. Really knowledgable, took her time, very easy to talk to and talked me through everything she was doing. Not at all pushy either.

A lot of it is down to the individual make up artist that you get. Hopefully someone near your neck of the woods will be able to recommend someone specifically or a specific B.B. counter. I think they're a good place to go to.

Definitely find out if they’re actually a MUA or just BB ‘qualified’. Look up Blow as they come to you eg at work.

Brilliant, thanks guys.
I looked a Blow but they were £70, and I felt a bit awkward about someone coming in to the office to do it.
