Brow and lash dye at home

If you do this, what brand do you use and is it easy?
I had a go at my barely there brows last week with a jfm beard dye in light brown but it didn't come out light brown at all on me.

Thinking of having another go but would like something I could use on my eyelashes too. I need a light-mid cool brown shade. Any ideas please?

I used to use Colorsport brow and lash tint with good results. They changed the formula a couple of years ago so I stopped using it as it didn't take at all.

I have yet to find another which gives a good enough result - so go to a local salon and pay £11 for both lash and brows tinting.

I use eyelure brow dye and it's really easy, cheap too!

That would be ideal lego but current flare up of debilitating illness prevents me popping to a salon, hence asking for home dye recommendations.

I use nice n easy root touch up in dark blonde and just make up a little each time.
(I use electronic kitchen scales to measure to ensure I get equal amounts of each gel to mixl

I only use this on brows as my lashes need black

‘Strictly Professional’ - available on amazon - has worked fine for me. Eyebrows very easy. Eyelashes take a bit more effort as it’s more precise but very doable.

I used to use eyelure but they changed the formula and I don't like it anymore. I use refectocil which I was told is what the professionals use. I'm a hinge and I use the light brown. My eyelashes are totally clear and it's the only dye that's ever taken on them.

*ginge not hinge Confused

I use professional beauty systems but as I have light eyebrows and only want a mid brown I only keep the solution on for 2 minutes and then repeat if I need. It darkens over time so I have gone really dark before thinking it hadn't taken and repeated too many times rather than wait.

Not brave enough to try eye lashes as sure I would get it all over my face - it stains skin so easily.

I use refectocil and it's great. Never had a problem with it staining skin. Brown for eyebrows and black for eyelashes, I have an old clean mascara wand for eyelashes which I find easier to use than the fiddly brush.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm not sure whether to get a light brown, dark brown or just a generic brown. Do they all get darker if you leave them on longer?
