Remember those grey Clarks biker type boots we all had a few years ago?

Has anybody seen anything in a similar style? Chunky, mid-calf, low heel.

TIA

I don’t remember the Clarks boots but I have these boots and they are really comfortable. They come in grey too.

Maybe try ebay...

Richlyfruited · 25/09/2018 19:24

Was it Clarks 'National Sugar' grey biker boots? I loved them and lots of people I know still bemoan their demise! They do have some on Ebay as suggested above.

catinboots9 · 25/09/2018 19:27

No they were Majorca Villa, but just looked at the National Sugar ones and they are almost identical! And I've found some on eBay. Hurrah.

Thanks peeps

I have reheeled and resoled my National Sugar boots several times and they are still going strong.. even a company like Timpsons will do them for you, if you still have them.

Last week I bought some Clarks 'Orinoco Spice' boots in Grey and also in black also worried that my 4yr old NS boots may not last the coming winter. ..

I wore the grey today and I have to say that they are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn.. They brought me out in blisters just driving and walking a short way around the town today. (and I have fairly standard sz5 feet) . The black are going back to the shop tomorrow .

I wish Clarks would do National Sugar again , they were the best boots ever!

I reheeled a grey pair of majorca villa boots until they were so worn down inside they started to hurt my feet! Loved them though and for the first 3 winters they were very comfy. Haven't found similar since and the ones they stocked last year were really hard and uncomfortable inside!

Thanks for reminding me of the name though... I will put them on a watch list on ebay!

gaggiagirl · 25/09/2018 20:08

I bought the clarks Taylor shines this year and took them on a short walk through the supermarket. They were agony. I persevered though and they were the comfiest ever within a few days.

Would you take them for another spin laksa?

Laska5772 · 25/09/2018 20:13

I will Gaggiagirl I cant take the grey ones back anyway as have walked around the town in them, hopefull it was just because I have had sandals and bare feet all summer long and wearing socks and boots today were just hitting the places where there hadn't been any friction since the good weather started.

However as I haven't worn the black ones I'm not risking them ! I still have 2pairs of old National Sugar ( re heeled and soled) boots to wear...

Doobigetta · 25/09/2018 21:02

Mine are still going strong. I was worried this thread would be about how over they were.

LittleWingSoul · 25/09/2018 22:42

Laska I've found clarks to be pretty good with returning uncomfortable or painful shoes that have been worn (I imagine you'd still need the receipt)... Because their whole shtick is meant to be comfort! I doubt blahnik or choos would have a similar policy!

Laska5772 · 26/09/2018 08:40

littlewing that's good to know. I'm wearing them again this morning ( have spare pair of shoes in car) Am hoping they will break in but black are definitely going back.
