Maternity jeans that stay up...

Anyone found any recently??? I’m not expecting miracles, just want to be able to walk more than 10 paces without exposing my underwear 😬 I’m 5ft 10 so ideally need something in a longer length, and just to make things harder, I am curvy on hips and bottom (but a size 12). Happy to spend if there’s a magic pair out there!

I've found h&m over the bump skinny type jeggings to be the only ones staying up well on me with this pregnancy. I'm 5 "8 and they're a good length.

I found under bump worked best when the bump wasn't too big. As I got bigger, I switched to over bump. During the last month, dungarees were my only option - I had an 11 pounder!

Thanks all. I’ve got some mamalicious under bump ones from my first pregnancy. They weren’t great at stating up then but they’re a bit too big (doing better at not eating for 2 this pregnancy ) and now they won’t stay up AT ALL Blush @wakeupslow which H&M ones did you go for?

I’ve always found over bump ones work, even when I have lost the pregnancy weight but had a sore section scar. They’ve never fallen down.

tenbob · 24/09/2018 20:11

Another vote for H&M over bump ones
But you need a bit of a bump to hold them up. They fell down when I wore them too early

Blondielongie · 24/09/2018 20:18

The mother care ones were good, blooming marvellous. They were over bump, but had loops for a belt (which was handy, unless ok remembering wrong!)

WakeUpSlow · 24/09/2018 20:18

They were the only over the bump jeans style available in my local h&m I've got them in navy and a grey pair as well.

Blondielongie · 24/09/2018 20:19

The brand is called blooming marvellous! Wasn't my description. Although they were good!!

butlerswharf · 24/09/2018 20:23

Gap maternity jeans are amazing. I have all the various types. Plus they look just like normal jeans. They're really good.

Mummymummymummmeeeee · 24/09/2018 20:25

I'm still wearing my over the bump H&M jeans even now DS2 is 5 months old and I fit back in my normal jeans Blush and they still stay up. I like how they cover up my tummy when I lift my top up for breastfeeding! And also nice not to have to faff with buttons and zips when trying to have a wee and also look after a baby and 3 year old! (I might get some more when these wear out even though I'm not planning any more pregnancies Blush)

FrowningFlamingo · 24/09/2018 22:49

I wear a heat tech top often and on days I do I find the over bump stay up much better.

wonderstar1216 · 24/09/2018 23:01

Another one for h and m! Also love their leggings

IWouldLikeToKnow · 25/09/2018 01:49

I hated the over the bump ones. Any I tried on were way to big for my bump at the time I was buying maternity clothes. I had a few pairs of topshop under the bump skinny jeans which I absolutely loved. Looked just like regular jeans and really comfortable. Hated getting back into my regular jeans afterwards! There is also a brand POCO, here in Ireland, which has a couple of maternity styles, which are getting good reviews.

TheLongRider · 25/09/2018 07:55

I used a pair of braces to stop mine from falling down!

welshweasel · 25/09/2018 07:59

H&M over bump. I’ve been in mine from 12 weeks this time and they don’t fall down at all. Also wore them postnatally for way too long Blush

Paranormalbouquet · 25/09/2018 08:01

I remembered maternity jeans being super comfortable from my first pregnancy and couldn’t wait to wear them again. But my old under the bump ones irritated my c-section scar and over the bump ones fell down. I’ve tried topshop and jojo this pregnancy with falling down the result but h+m actually stay up. So another vote for h+m!

peonylover22 · 25/09/2018 08:45

Okay so loads of votes for H&M but they only seem to do one leg length? I normally need at least at 34” leg so am not sure they will be long enough?

MyBabyBoyBlue · 25/09/2018 08:50

Another vote for h and m here! I am also 5 10 but the length was absolutely fine. They're the comfiest jeans I've ever worn and I kept wearing them for months after DS was born (emcs)

welshweasel · 25/09/2018 18:37

I’m nearly 6 foot and H&M jeans are fine for me.

hammeringinmyhead · 26/09/2018 11:33

ASOS Ridley as they have 3 beltloops (side, other side and back) so you can hold them up. I've had 5 pairs and these are the only ones that don't fall down. I bought some Topshop Joni (second hand thankfully) and they're down by my ankles after three steps.
