Oxblood leather handbag

I’m hankering after an Oxblood leather handbag. I’ve got a large Kelly style handbag in taupe leather, bought from a small shop in Ibiza town which I would highly recommend, and a Mulberry Ledbury (what would now be called a small Bayswater, no strap) in Oak.

It would be primarily for work. I like the look of the zipped Bayswaters from Mulberry but they have shot up in price since mine was bought for me about 10 years ago from the Somerset factory shop and I’m not convinced the quality is what it used to be.

Any suggestions for a more sensibly priced alternative in something like that style? I’ve also been looking at Coach and Kate Spade.

I've seen both Demellier and Village England do lovely bags in oxblood/burgendy this season. Demellier especially might be worth a look - they've got lots of bags with the more structured body of a Bayswater.
