After losing a few stone I'm now back into standard sizes. 24-18/20 so far and still going. I've not bothered with Primark much except for the dc.

Pant, ladies there pants are brilliant. They are honestly great! So comfy, hold you in and obviously cheap. What else am I missing out on?

Do you mean knickers? I've not tried them as I normally wear 8-10 and they do 6-8 or 10-12.
Their socks and tights are great.
Well done with your weight loss.

LucyInTheParkWithDragons · 23/09/2018 18:32

I find them a bit scratchy, and they fall to bits. And sizes are weird...

Can't go wrong with m&s (just for pants tho, couldn't pay me to wear most of their clothes)

PeppaP · 23/09/2018 18:34

Good for one use only, unfortunately, they don’t last a single wash without looking like they’ve lived a hard life.

Fatted · 23/09/2018 18:36

Have you actually washed them yet?!

I hate primark. I don't go in for a while, forget why I hate it, go in and then remember very quickly what I hate about it. Everything just looks so cheap and nasty. Supermarkets seem to have much better quality for the same price range.

JasperCopeland · 23/09/2018 18:37

Matalan are better Smile

Marmite27 · 23/09/2018 18:38

I like Primark knickers too. And pjs.

StarfishSandwich · 23/09/2018 18:41

I have some high waist, massive, primark pants (come in a three pack on a hanger, made of stretchy stuff that I can’t for the life of me remember the name of now) that I bought for pregnancy/postpartum. I have 9 pairs that I have been rotating for the last 4 weeks-ish so they have been intensively washed and they are AMAZING. Definitely not cheapy or falling apart at all. I don’t rate their fashion underwear at all, but these are incredible.

user1471429975 · 23/09/2018 19:01

Mine fell apart after 1 wash

LanaorAna2 · 23/09/2018 19:10

Nooo, Primark control pants are outrageously good. I only wear Spanx usually too.

PiperPublickOccurrences · 23/09/2018 19:12

I bought some of their massive pants to wear after an operation, I found them really scratchy and itchy. M&S all the way.

DinosaurPoop · 23/09/2018 19:25

I like Asda pants, their short briefs and their tummy control ones are also great!

Coolaschmoola · 23/09/2018 19:26

Their skinny jeans are fab.

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 23/09/2018 19:27

Primark knickers are grear! I find they wash and wear really well. The £2.50 bras are good too.

squirrelnutkins1 · 23/09/2018 19:39

I love them too! Got loads!

cheapskatemum · 23/09/2018 19:42

I like Tu knickers from Sainsbury, especially when they have offers, like 3 for £&.

PristineCondition · 23/09/2018 19:44

I love the £2.50 tshirt bras, I’ve got some that are 5+ years old and still look new.

BackIntoTheSun · 23/09/2018 19:59

@starfishsandwich Same, got some big pants for postpartum and they're really comfy so still wearing them after many washes

EvilRingahBitch · 23/09/2018 20:04

Their cotton pants are a bit rubbish but their elastane-heavy shorts style are great. God knows what they’re made of but they last really well.

ItWasntMeItWasIm · 23/09/2018 20:07

@EvilRingahBitch yes those are fab - I bought them for running at least 8 (probably 10) years ago and they are still going strong Shock

Unsure123123 · 23/09/2018 20:41

These are the tummy sucker in knickers on the hanger. I've not washed them yet but they seem great. Really hoping they hold up to wearing as they seem fab.

Got some skinny jeans, long sleeve t-shirt tops and slippers. Nightwear looked ok, as did some of the home stuff. Everything else wasn't good. Jumpers were all poor shapes and too short but hey it's Primark.

Ameliarose16 · 23/09/2018 20:54

They're thongs are the best! No elastic!!! I've got so many packs! Never had a pair break?

elQuintoConyo · 23/09/2018 20:58

Their thongs are veeeeeery small in the crotch, they disappear up one's flaps, sorry for tmi. And after 6 months they are shredding elastic.

I have bought H+M, lovely and generous. No M+S here.

NotANotMan · 23/09/2018 21:01

They do stupid in between sizes. I can't wear a 14/16 as it's too small, and the 18/20 is massive. Sort it out primark!

Rents · 23/09/2018 21:03

Small in the crotch? The last time I bought Primark pants I thought the crotch was too long. It gave me a saggy gusset 🤔

Mind this was about 11 years ago...
