How to take a good photo?

New job Monday, will need a photo ID on me.

I've been practicing with my camera phone and I look like my alcoholic uncle Jim.

Any tips much appreciated!

I need to know this too. I’m so awkward when someone points a camera at me I look awful. The chin down thing just makes me have several chins!

Don't actually tuck your chin to your chest! Just tilt is slightly down and to the left/right. Honestly a bit of bronzer (I'm pale and use NARS Laguna) on forehead, and in an E shape on each side of face (on one side, it's a back-to-front E obvs), works wonders. Blusher (again I'm pale and use a pale pink/peach - Clinique innocent peach) on apples and swept up cheekbones. Try to think of something to make you smile naturally. Cameras wash you out and flatten your face.
