Superdrug recommendations

I’ve seen many mentions of great Superdrug products on various threads and thought it might be good to have them in one place .

I need some new products and want to try some of them but can’t remember what they are :)

What do you recommend and also what to swerve ?

I really like the MUA mascara called Amplify Statement Lash. It is totally smudge proof, lasts all day and looks great for only a few quid.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 22/09/2018 13:58

MUA Undress Your Skin- brilliant highlighter cream thingy, that doesn't make you look like you've had the Christmas glitter stick round your chops

Vit E Hot cloth cleanser

Pure skincare range, especially hydrating serum.

trigger2 · 22/09/2018 14:00

I like the Simply Pure range, especially the serum (day one) - suits my sensitive skin, does the job it’s meant to, and cheap as chips :-)

gummywitch · 22/09/2018 14:02

Their Naturally Radiant range. The hot cloth cleanser and the brightening radiance balm . Think on offer at the mo. Oops nearly forgot about the Simply Pure hydrating serum they sell too. The night version (turquoise container) is great. All cheap as chips. Also the £1 MUA range lipstick in shade 11. All time fave.

Make Up Revolution is stocked in Superdrug and their conceal and define concealer is awesome.

Following!

I really like their fake tan mousse - it's about £3.49 at the moment & I prefer it to most more expensive ones.

Kochicoo · 22/09/2018 14:20

Naturally Radiant night cream and Vitamin E spf15 radiance moisture cream

Deathraystare · 22/09/2018 14:38

I like too much stuff. I do not seem to be able to go in without spending around £30 each time!

TakeAChanseyOnMe · 22/09/2018 14:40

Naturally radiant hot cloth cleanser (I prefer it to the vitamin E one but DM prefers big E) and the moisturisers in that range.

Not Superdrug specifically but the Collection concealer is the best and under £5 - they’ve released more shades now too.

scaredofthecity · 22/09/2018 14:43

I really rate the naturally radiant and calm skin ranges. Plus there's some great bits to be found in the B. range as well.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/09/2018 14:46

Sometimes they do the nip and fab pads for a good price. The glycolic acid ones are good.

lexi873 · 22/09/2018 15:32

I bought the Naturally Radiant glycolic toner as I’d seen it recommended on here, £5.99 and buy one get one free! Only been using it a week and my skin is looking better already!

GVmama · 22/09/2018 16:57

They also sell online bottles of almond oil for around £2 and it's great for hair/ skin/ used as a bath oil etc. Never seen it in store though.

They also sell online the full Cantu curly hair range for the Curly girls amongst us. Highly recommend the curly custard (works like a gel) and the moisturising curl activator cream.

It's worth mentioning that they deliver for free for Beautycard holders 👍

OldJoseph · 22/09/2018 18:02

Their calm skin facial oil and their vitamin e facial oil.

swirlyswirl · 22/09/2018 18:25

Naturally Radiant Glycolic toner- my skin likes it better than the Pixi one. Simply Pure Hydrating Serum - and the night one too.

I've also just started using some of the B spritzes - the vitamin C one at the moment which has hyaluronic acid too, but I'm going to try the Camomile one next as it has Niacinimide too.

JMAngel1 · 22/09/2018 18:34

God me too Deathraystare!
I absolutely love MUA undress me highlighter in Peach Diamond - it is utterly girgeous and £3! Better than my MAC and BB highlighters by a mile.
Make Up Revolution Radiant trio powder is an absolute dupe of Hourglass Ambient Lighting plus their Matte Basic Neutral Palette is fab and £4.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/09/2018 19:17

Their hairdye (I'm using semi-permanent now after getting a bit frustrated with the regrowth root line that came with permanent . It lasts weeks and doesn't cause colour loss when washing hair , re-growth less obvious)

The toothpaste ( the charcoal one and I use sensitive)

Optimum skincare - often on offer , pump bottles so no air contamination or putting fingertips into cream

Glycolic peel pads (the pale green tub, I think Radiance)

Vit E body mist ( 'cos I am lazy , a quick blast of this gives a bit of moisture , not as good as a lotion but better than nought and quite nice on my menopausal flushed body)

I have a couple of make-up bits I like -
Revolution eyebrow 3 day dye (paint on, dry, peel off )
Eyeliner (very snazzy bronze metal tube )

flintfoxy · 22/09/2018 19:22

Lots of good stuff to try here!
