Help... Pencil skirt for curvy figure!

I'm 38-27-39 and really struggling to find a pencil skirt to fit at the hips that doesn't just swirl around my waist!

Ideally I'd like 2 (wishful thinking). ..one for work and a nicer/dressier one for going 'out'... But I can't find either!

Any suggestions much appreciated!

I just bought one from Zara that fits me perfectly and I have an hourglass figure too. I also find that H&M trousers and skirts fit around my waist better than some.

I’m the same dimensions. Just find one that fits in the hips and through the thighs, and get it altered at the waist. It’s a simple alteration and won’t cost a lot.

Ditto getting skirts altered. Usually cheap, and makes a brilliant difference.

Surely you need a stretchy one ? I've seen a few thick stretchy material ones in the shops at the mo . One in matalan yesterday I think .

Either get a skirt altered at the waist or try Vivien of Holloway which is specially cut for 12 inch differences (I would try their 26-38 size as they can run large).

M&S have quite a few stretchy ones. I just avoid them generally and go for dresses over skirts as I always find them a bad fit!
