What casual day dresses are you wearing this season, bonus marks if they can be worn with Dr Martens? Extra brownie points if they are made out of non-polyester materials. Oh and a gold star if you post a link. TIA.

I have short legs and for wearing dresses in the winter I like thick tights and a low rise shoe boot. Anything else makes me look very stumpy legged.

@SergeantPfeffer I’m a very definite 12 and it comes up quite big on me - could probably have got away with a 10. I’m really pleased with it - soft denim and a nice length. Had compliments when wearing it because it’s quite different

I like that Boden dress too! What are their sizes and returns like?

SergeantPfeffer · 23/09/2018 19:11

I find their sizing on the bigger side but not as big as sea salt or white stuff. So if you buy from places like topshop, whistles, or warehouse you’ll probably need a size down.

Arket has some fab dresses, I love this boat neck and this floral shirt dress.

And Hush have loads of casual dresses.

Love some of the styling at Hush but their clothes (particularly their dresses) are not made for pear shapes, sadly.
