OK. I have very specific requirements for a shoe.

I have large feet, and after a toe op I can't wear heels over about 1 inch, and they MUST NOT press on my big toe.

I want a winter boot, with a western style cropped heel, like a cowboy boot, or a Louis heel, with either a brougue (sp) or boot fastening. 1" or less heel. I don't do straight or clunky heels, they make my feet look like boats.

My foot size is a 42 EU. I am in the UK, so it's a UK 9 or an Aus 11.

I don't want Ugg boots, I have those but want something a bit smarter to wear for work.

Try ASOS?

No, I need to try them on first. I have had too many times that the size is wrong.

Ah .. you might struggle for a size 9 on the high street. Clark's sometimes do them. Diechman go up to a size 10 if you have one locally
